Location

This unique 1887 historic building is located in the village of Metaxata.  It is just a short drive (5 minutes and 2 km) from the villa to the beautiful golden sands of Avithos Beach.  The property is also close to Ai Hellas Beach & next to the equally beautiful village of Kourkoumelata.  The historic building is just 8 minutes drive from the airport and 14 minutes from the capital Argostoli.   There are many tavernas, bars, cafes & an ATM that are all in reasonably close proximity  and a short drive from this property.

Details

Renovation 235 is a historic 1887 building which belonged to the family of Lieutenant  Christodoulos Tsigantes who was a famous General in the Greek Army.  The building has beautiful masonry work throughout and exposed beamed ceilings.  The property is interestingly designed with a large entrance corridor, three large rooms and second arched corridor.  The third corridor leads to a stone staircase to the attic.  To the rear of the property is a storage room and to the front is a courtyard with a stone well and gardens to side of the property.  The building can be extended to a two-storey property.  The interior design and layout can be developed to suit the purchaser.  This renovation project would make a unique home and statement.
